PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Is made by blending local grape varieties as Dolcetto, Barbera & Nebbiolo. The pruning is in the vineyard and the selection during the grape harvest. Harvest in 20 Kg. boxes. After stalk removal pressing, contact with the skin takes place for 10-12 days in steel tanks. Maturing takes place for 12 months, partly in wooden barrels as 40-50 hl in capacity and partly in steel tanks. Then blending and bottling. A further 6 months in the bottle before being put on sale. Is a deep red ruby colour and the bouquet is spicy with some wild notes., as wild flowers and fruit preserve. A wine to join with pasta , pizza, first courses and white meat. The aging plateau is 3-5 years and it comes from vineyards located in Barolo village, at an average altitude from 380 to 480 mt above sea level.
