最初采用100%凯奈尔品种葡萄酒，但经过多次混调后才决定使用70%的赤霞珠和30%的凯奈尔，这样可以带出两个品种最好的特性。在法国橡木桶内陈酿，只稍作过虑，尽量保留原味。漂亮的红宝石色泽，优雅的香味中带有巧克力、雪茄盒、咖啡、草莓和奶油糖果的混合味道。口感丰厚、浓郁、圆润，余味悠长。建议开瓶后停放30分钟。窖藏4年或即时饮用俱佳。
Cabernet Sauvignon – Carmenére from Aplata Valley, brought forward the best of both varieties, making it the most friendly and universally appealing serious wine. Carmenére is a lost varietal in France and only recently rediscovered growing well in Chile. Aged in American oak with only one soft filtering. Beautiful and intense ruby red color, it has a very elegant aroma with notes of chocolate, cigar box, coffee, and also vanilla and butterscotch. To the palate it is ample, full, of medium body, soft and generous, with a long after taste. Decanting is recommended for at least 30 minutes. It can be cellared for at least 4 years or enjoyed now.
