2003 Grenache Shiraz

Grenache from the 2003 vintage was stunning. Early during fermentation, a plethora of spicy, floral, rose petal characters started to appear. Later toward the end of fermentation and during basket pressing, the spicy wine showed distinctive plum and lavender characters. The freshness of the wine is outstanding as it receives no oak treatment but rather is kept tightly sealed in stainless steel tanks until bottling to retain the purity of fruit it richly displays.

The 2003 Grenache (70%) Shiraz (16%) Cabernet (11%) and Petit Verdot (3%) shows floral, berry and pepper aromas with a soft, full and elegant mouth filling flavour in an easy drinking style.
